Cute Family...

This session was filled with lots of adventure. When we showed up to the orchards, we found a trap with a little squirrel in it. Mom kept trying to decide if she should let it go and let it stay in the cage. We swore the cage was for something bigger like a raccoon. It took us all session to decide, but we decided to open the cage and release the beast:). Enjoy!

This family was such a joy to work with. And I must say that all 5 kids were so well behaved and gorgeous in front of the camera. And can you believe how great mom looks! Yeah, five kids and she looks amazing. You guys are awesome and I can't wait to work with you again:) There were so many cute pictures I had a hard time just choosing a few.

Seriously this family was so funny. We laughed our entire shoot! They were poking fun at one another, themselves and yeah maybe me. I think we chased after a UPS guy, laughed at mom and dad while they were "trying to kiss" for the picture and oh yeah my camera bag got ran over by a car! But all is good:)

Can I just say I love this little guy! He is full of spunk, attitude and loves to get everyone's attention already! I love the way he scrunches his nose when he smiles. He loves to do everything his big sister does! He has grown up so fast and it makes me so sad! Some things that Merik loves are his Monkey, binki, sister, his doggies, playing outside and giving big wide opened mouth kisses! I love you my little monster. Happy 1st birthday!

All I have to say is my seniors rock it! They are the bomb dignity! Oh wait is that cool to say now...Oops well it was cool back in the day so I'll keep saying it. Ashley is an amazing girl. Her personality is to die for. So kind and caring but fun and full of laughter. We had a great time shooting her session, with her crew following behind blowing bubbles, duck tapping, running for props and being my assistant! I just loved all of them! I think we hiked a couple of miles that night with half of it running so that we could beat the sunset! Thanks you guys!

John Deere...

That was the theme of this shoot! The first time we got together we could not find a bright green tractor, but a plow. So we decided to look some more and meet up one more time so we could get some pictures with a bright green tractor. Well we did and it was so worth it! This guy was so good, because you would never know from all his smiles and funny faces that he was teething all four of his top teeth during these shoots! What a little trooper! Thanks so much you guys, I had a blast!

Well I gave you a teaser a little bit ago but her is her full post. Just warning you there are a lot of pictures. Jo has been fantastic. She chose amazing locations, beautiful outfits and has the best personality. We had a great time driving together to all of our spots, walking through rivers, mud and tried not to get eaten by all the spiders and ants in the sunflowers. Thanks for being such a trooper!

One side note, I always get asked why I only post a couple pictures from a session. So here is my answer...I love using my blog to show my clients a readers my work. I feel it is a great way to show my personality and style of art! I love getting my clients excited to see their finished product. But most of all I love seeing the expression on my clients faces as I show them their pictures for the first time. Watching new moms fall in love with their newborn all over again as they see intimate pictures of their precious baby, watching moms and dads tear up as they see how big their children have grown.I think my most favorite is watching seniors get all giddy when they see how beautiful they truly are when they look at my portraits for the first time. So because of this I choose to put only a couple pictures up from a session and the rest I leave for my clients portrait consultation. Soooo, because I have been asked so many times I am going to show you lots (well less than half) of pictures from this shoot! Enjoy!!

This family came all the way down from Washington to get their family pictures done. They called about 4 months ago and scheduled a time where they could come enjoy the heat of St. George. I guess when you live in a state where it rains all the time, you crave the sunshine. This family is gorgeous and the location was amazing. We woke up very early to get the beautiful lighting and the girls were so good the whole time. We had such a good time together and I can't wait till they come down again.

I am so excited to share these pictures with you. I seriously pored my heart out on this project for this session. I new I not only wanted to do something special but something different. I wanted something I had never seen. I called my mom, described what I wanted and we went shopping. We had fun finding the perfect basket, lace and filler. Well its been awhile but I am finally back! Having a broken computer was a pain in my rear but I am so excited to say I have a new one now and I have LOTS to edit. I am so excited to be editing again, I forgot how much I enjoy it.

This little girl was so precious. I loved that we got to do an outside shoot with a newborn. It was so fun and I just absolutely love the backdrops nature gives us! I am in love with these pictures and can't wait for my next post to show you my fun creative prop I made especially for this little girl. It is so dang cute it is going to get its own post. I'm Back!!! Yep, life got a little crazy with the end of school and the What Women Want Expo. So I didn't have time to workout or eat healthy:( But while I was at the expo I actually got inspired by some of my readers. I have a few people stop by and tell me how they loved my "Take It Off Tuesday" posts. I loved talking with my clients & readers and actually was surprised at how many people enjoyed reading these post. I was told I was inspiring others and that they wanted to get out and go running with me. So here we are a week after the expo and I am ready to get back on the train and get rid of some of the big LB's. So below I am going to share with you my eating plan. I have decided that I HAVE to plan out my meals or I won't eat them. I also have do be pretty consistent and eat similar things each day, that way it becomes more automated and easy for me to know 1. What I am suppose to eat and 2. How many calories I am eating. I have put the "fitness pal" app on my phone and am ready to go. If you haven't heard of this app, you have to get it. It is A-MAZ-ING! Not only does it tell you how many calories to eat for my height, size and weight loss goals, but it also has every food you can think of to enter for the day, it has a place to put notes on workouts and food intake, workout diary and the best thing...a bar code reader. Yep that is the coolest thing ever! You just scan your yogurt etc., and it tells and inputs all of the health information into your daily values. It is wonderful:) So if you don't have this one, you need to go get it.

Okay so I am barely getting this in. I going to tell the truth...I am struggling! I need someone to light a fire under you know where. I was doing so well:( and then I took a break for this and a small break for that. I couldn't workout because Chris was out of town or I was traveling. I keep telling myself I will start but I am so exhausted and just want to sleep. I know I need to start up again because I feel like crap. When I was eating and exercising I felt like I had more energy and now all I want to do is sleep. So if anyone is willing to light that fire for me...hehe! Sorry this blog post stinks, but its the truth and that's where I am at right now. I will do better this week...I will do better this week...I WILL DO BETTER THIS WEEK!

Take It Off Tuesdays...

Okay well this is week #3...Yeah, and I'm still going strong. I wont lie, it has been hard the last couple of weeks. With Chris traveling for work, us traveling to visit family, I have not been the best at working out and eating healthy. I do workout when I am home and I do eat healthy when I plan my meals though. Can I just tell you I hate cooking for just me. You would think it would be easy but I just hate it. So when Chris is out of town I have a terrible time sticking to my meal plans cause I would rather just eat a bowl of cereal:( I took the kids out running with be on Mr. Double Bob and can I tell you that it was not easy. I made it a little over 2 miles. When you are used to swinging your arms while running it makes it very difficult to run when you have to hold onto the stroller (any suggestions greatly appreciated). I found myself pushing the stroller a couple of feet ahead of myself and then catching up to it. The kids loved riding in the stroller though. This week I started my swim workouts and it felt so good to be back in the pool. I use to swim in high school, so to be back in the pool swimming laps felt great and actually gave me time to think and relax. Then Chris met me at the pool with the kids and we all got to play:) For the rest of the week I have 2 bike rides one more swim and a couple of runs (which will be in New Orleans). Yep you heard me right! My sister and I are heading to New Orleans this Friday to pick out venues for her wedding. We plan on running in the mornings on the river walk and walking to all of our locations, so I hope that will help with our calorie intake. So my weight lost to date since started=0, but on the happier side I do feel good and a little more healthy. Next week I will hopefully have a negative sign in front of weight loss! I wanted to leave you with a wonderful picture that a client sent to me. I offered all of my clients an amazing deal on a session if they made a sign for me at my triathlon. Take It Off Tuesday...

I'm back...I told ya, I'm serious. So today I wanted to share with you my first triathlon. My sister, dad and I all have been training for this for the last couple of months. We started out by just running which just about killed me. If you know my dad then you know what I'm talking about. My dad is an amazing personal trainer, I really think he should do it on the side for a little extra cash, but he has lots of little projects and doesn't need another job. Anyways back to my triathlon...When I first started training I thought I would hate running the most. Well, that was until my parents bought me my first road bike. Yeah the one with itty bitty tires and even smaller seat. When we got back from our first ride down Snow Canyon Parkway and back (yeah first ride) I was crying. Not because I was out of shape and couldn't keep up but because my BUM hurt so bad from that tiny seat...OUCH! I swear my bum hurt for a week after! So before we went on our next ride my wonderful dad went out and bought me a bigger seat, which fit my bigger bum just perfect...hehe! So I did the beginner tri which included a 200 meter swim, 5 mile bike ride and 1.5 mile run. Let me tell you before the race I had major butterflies. I felt sick to my stomach and then right before the race I was starving. Let me just tell you when I went for the bike ride my chain came off twice...yes twice:( And I would have to say my transitions were terrible. So I for sure have some goals set for my next triathlon (which is June 4th).Here are my times: 200meter swim= 5mins 10secs transition=4mins 22secs (this is because I had to slither my board shorts off under a towel with out showing anyone my behind, yeah I got talent:) 5 mile bike=34mins 30secs (chain came of twice remember) transitions 1min 19secs Run=23mins 5secs, Totaling 1hr 8mins & 27secs
I'm pretty happy with myself. I trained and I finished! But nex time I will do better.

Another Tea Party...

This beautiful little girl came out to the orchards not only for the tea party but it was also her birthday. She is turning three! She was so fun to play with. She loved the bubbles, cupcakes and as you can see she loves her little stuffed animals. And I just want to say, her eyes are really that gorgeous. Are you thinking...WHAT!!! Well it's not what you think I not posting a boudoir session (right now) nor is anyone taking anything off here besides weight. YEP I said it the big bad "W" word, weight. I have been on a weight loss journey since Merik was born which was 7months, 6 days ago (well actually I have been on it for the last 10 years, but I am going to finish it this time) . So far I have lost a total of 50 pounds...whoot, whoot! But before you get to excited I actually lost 59 pounds two months ago and then gained the 9 pounds back the last two months:( Yeah I know I fell off the wagon AGAIN!!! But I am bound a determined to get through this and lose the weight for good. In about one year my sister is getting married in New Orleans and I am her #1 girl standing right next to her when she gets married. I want to enjoy that day and not feel insecure or hide from the camera. I want to have fun and not worry if the dress is covering all my yucky areas. One of my biggest reason I want to get healthy and lose the weight is for my two beautiful babies, especially Haylee. I want to enjoy the younger years with them by running and playing with them. Before I had Merik, I can remember chasing after Haylee in the park and being out of breath, now how sad is that. I want my children to be proud of their mommy, love me and never be embarrassed of me (because of my weight cause I know I will embarrass them in other ways). Also as a woman I know how hard it is to have a good self esteem about our body image. I don't want to constantly be yo-yo dieting in front of Haylee and telling her that I'm fat. Because I know no matter what size or shape Haylee turns out to be I know she will be a beautiful, kind, loving person. I want her to love herself inside and out. So because of this I have decided to start and finish this weight loss journey by March 16th 2012. I have a total of 60-70 pounds to lose before that date. Now I know I will have my ups and downs but I will do it this time...for my hubby, my sister, my children and most importantly ME! I am going to use my Take It Off Tuesdays to keep my self motivated and hopefully maybe motivate some of you guys out there as well. I've decided I am going to blog healthy recipes, ideas, workouts, my progress with workouts, eating and weight loss. Even though I am not going to put my actual weight # up (because I am way to embarrassed of that #) I am going to put my weight loss (or gain) up weekly along with a monthly picture so you can see the difference. I would love for anyone to comment on my journey or your journey. I'll take advice or ideas to help me out. Also if you would like to join me in this journey I have decided to have a little "Biggest Loser" competition here on my blog. Even if you don't have to lose as much as I do you can send in you weight and weight loss each week. The person with the biggest percentage of weight loss after 3 months will get a free session from me. I need to have a least a couple of people participate in this to have it work, so spread the love and tell all of your friends to join so this can be fun journey for all of us. So here we go...my first entry on Take It Off Tuesday. 2 weeks ago I ran my first 5K. My sister and I were actually suppose to run it together but it got full and we couldn't get in. Then my sister won and entry but hurt her hip and couldn't run it. So being the Amazing sister that I am I took her spot. I know it is only 3.2 miles but I was pretty proud of myself because when I was a skinny minny in high school I could barely run a mile for volleyball tryouts and I did it in 43 minutes and 25 seconds...soooo Yeah Me. I'm so excited to work with my new client, Natalie! She's also a SoCal native who moved to Utah and her and her FI are getting married! Yep, that's right she is tying the knot, getting hitched, taking the plunge or whatever else you want to call it. I am so excited, I can't wait. She has chosen to get married where her fiance, Spencer, proposed which is in New Orleans. We are actually going at the end of April to visit, taste food, pick venues, look at flowers and most importantly try all the yummy drink down in the Big Easy! We went out a couple of days ago to take her Save the Date pictures and now she is having a hard time choosing which one she wants to use SO we decided to put them on here and have you guys vote. Let me just tell you how amazing this shoot was. First of all the kids were great, they all enjoyed being out in the orchards running around, playing with the dolls and dressing up. The clouds were perfect and the flowers were in bloom and bright pink. The only thing we could have asked for was a little bit more warmth, but other than that it was one of my favorite set-ups and shoots. Here is just one from the day, more to come!

Well not at my house but at the blog. I have been so busy with Christmas, family shoots etc. that I have not had time to post very much. So this post is just to tell everyone I still here...YEAH! I also wanted to show you my what I have been working on

I am enjoying my boudoir shoots very much. I love making women feel confident about the way they look. I know I have issues with the way I look and I am always putting off my boudoir shoots, but every time I am finished I realize we are all so beautiful and I would love to do a boudoir shoot. The best part of these sessions are the letters I get from my clients telling me how much their husbands loved the pictures, and what it meant to them to feel so sexy for a day. I will have to post a letter soon!

Have you ever had a session were you left feeling like you are on cloud nine! Well this is how this session went for me. I knew I had tons of good pictures without even looking through my shots. Sessions turn out amazing when you have great clients who value photography and will do just about anything for the shot! I was so anxious to get home to see these pictures because I have been waiting since May to do this photo shoot for the "B" family. We had many conversations on the phone and even a house visit to get the feel of the family and what they wanted. I could only wish for clients like these guys every time. This sweet little guy is mine again. I just can't get enough of him. I was sitting at home when I thought hey lets go visit grandpa and do some pics. Both grandpas were so excited for our little Merik. Chris' dad wanted a boy because our last name was going to end with Chris and I know my dad wanted a boy to watch him grow up and play football. Well here he is with Grandpa Minniss' cowboy gear. I'm sure one day my dad will have him up on a horse roping cows just as we did when we were little. I can't wait! Love ya!

But I love him the most! I was so excited when I found out that I was pregnant because I had so many ideas I wanted to try out on him. Well to my surprise he does not like the camera. I think he can smell it because as soon as I get it out of the bag he starts screaming. He does not want to be posed nor does he want to be naked. I decided I was going to to a shoot outside when the weather was warm hoping the heat would make him fall asleep. Nope he stayed awake the whole time. I think I got lucky with a blink on this picture...hehe. Merik, mommy will always win!

MERIK PIERCE KAEDING! He came into this world on August 30th at 2:58am, weighing 8.4lbs and 21 inches long. He is perfect in every way. It has been a long and tiring 10 days, but worth every minute. It is so fun watching Haylee interact with him and watch his every move. She loves to help change diapers, watch mommy feed him and wants to stick his binki in his mouth when ever it falls out. We are so glad you are here Merik and can't wait to watch you grow up! Love Mommy

Well I should be on my way to the hospital right now and Merik should be here with in 24 hours...we are so excited.
Our little family is changing and it will no longer be just the three of us but now it will be the four of us. We are all so excited to meet him but I wanted to make one last post about my little girl before he comes!

Haylee Rose...we waited so long for you and you were our little miracle. I know things are going to change around here but I wanted to let you know that you are our world. You make mommy and daddy so happy and you make us smile all the time. I could not imagine life with out you! I love seeing your big gorgeous blue eyes, button nose and piggie tails. You have such a kind spirit and are so friendly to everyone. I love how you wave to everyone in the grocery store and rock out no matter where you are when you hear a good song come on. You are growing up so fast and I wish I could slow down time, but I love each stage you go through. You have your own little personality now and I can tell you will make a difference in this world. You will be such a good big sister and I know you guys will be the best of friends. Haylee you are the most important thing in our lives and you will forever and always be mommy's favorite little girl. This cute little precious baby boy! Let me tell you I am just hoping that mine will come out with half the hair this little guy has. He was such a trooper the whole shoot. In the beginning he did not want to sleep but after a couple of feeding and a special little touch he was out. Thanks so much for letting me shoot your little guy I had so much fun with you guys. Just a little side note. Things are going to be a little slow around here for a little bit. I am heading back to school this Monday, writing lots of maternity leave lesson plans, finishing up editing my shoots I have just finished, plus I just move a lot slower these days. My little guy should be coming at the end of this month and we are soooooo excited to meet him. I will be posting lots of pictures once he arrives.

Make sure if you have a newborn that is arriving very soon or has just arrived that you call me ASAP. I only have a few spots left before I take my maternity leave!

Being in Front of the Camera

A couple of weeks ago a good a great friend of mine Serena took my maternity pictures for me. I had not gotten maternity pictures with Haylee and the last pictures I have had is with Haylee when she was a newborn. Now we have lots of pictures of Haylee with Dad, Grandma, Grandpa and everyone else, but we have hardly any pictures of me and Haylee. Mostly because I am the one behind the camera snapping away, but also because I am sooooo uncomfortable with my body and the way that I see my self.
Last night when I saw my pictures for the first time I cried my eyes out for like a half an hour. Now it might be the prego hormones but I think it was because all I could think about was if anything happened to me Haylee would only have a handful of pictures of us together. The pictures that Serena took for me reminded me how precious pictures truly are. I love these pictures and I will treasure them forever (okay I crying again, dang hormones). Every woman has insecurities about there body, whether it be the freckles on their face to being overweight. This should not stop us from being in pictures or getting professional pictures taken. Your children love you for who you are, and how you love them. I guess the reason for this long post with no pics is 1. To thank my dear friend Serena for these amazing pictures 2. To remind all the women out there no matter what your insecurities are to capture your memories with pictures because time flies by too quickly.

That's what I have been doing a lot of. They have been a lot of fun but a lot of work, which at this point in time is not the easiest thing to do! But I am glad to say I finished my last family shoot before I go on my maternity leave! I still have babies though. I can't wait to meet all those little ones which only gets me more excited for my little one.

This family was so cute. It is so fun to see the dynamics of a family and the different personalities between the kids. The two little girls were so quit and reserved while the little boy was jumping from rock to rock, showing his muscles and cheesy smiles. Gotta love the boys!

Just living in the past! Last summer my baby was so little and we enjoyed San Diego soooo much. I can't wait to visit our friends and family down there and take Haylee to all the fun places San Diego has to offer. It will be fun to see how she reacts to all the places we took her to last year. I am guessing she is not going to sit in one spot like she did last year, which wouldn't be so bad except I am not to fast anymore with my big protruding belly.

Grandpas boots. I have been wanting to put Haylee in my dad's boots for so long, but it took her forever to stand and then time just got away from me. Finally I made the time found the spot and took her there. Chris had to hide and feed her gummy bears but it was all worth it. I love them both, but only want to print one. Where have I been, is the question of the day? This pregnancy has taken control of my life. It is so funny how pregnancies can be so different. My first one was seemed much easier than this one that is for sure. We found out we are having a boy! Yeah.....One boy, one girl and done. Our perfect little family.

Okay I know it's Wednesday but I do have an excuse, but you will have to keep reading to find out! First of all I want to wish all my friends, family, clients and readers a Happy New Year. Can you believe its 2010. Wow, time flies. At the end of 2009 during my Christmas break I got to go through all of my pictures on my old computer and transfer them to my external hard drive (and no this was not fun). While I was waiting for all the pictures to download I got to go through memory lane. It made realize how long me and my hubby have been together. We meet when I was a freshman in college, I'm scared to say but that was about 11 years ago. We have only been married for about 4years. We did so many things before we started our family. I am so glad we took that time to get to know each other, have fun and grow up with one another.

Then we bought our first baby Zoey. We really did treat her like our child too!

Then we got Boozer and boy do I love him.

Then after about three years of trying we got our little miracle Haylee. Wow did life change then. She is everything to us and our life revolves around her.

So I know you are all saying okay get to the point. Well since last time I posted, and yes I know there hasn't been a post since my last Mine on Monday I have had much on my plate. But most importantly we found out that we are PREGNANT! Yep I said it, I have a little lentil bean growing inside of me. I am only 6 weeks along but I am one of those people that just can't hold it in. I get so giddy that everyone knows I am hiding something. We are so excited, nervous and in shock! So the reason behind no posting is I have been back to school teaching. exhausted and praying to the porcelain god. Lets just hope this doesn't last long so I can enjoy the rest of the pregnancy and my last 8 months alone with my little princess. I am so excited for the new year and what it will bring us...HEHE!

Okay so I laid my little girl down for the night and decided to read some blogs (not some actually a lot) and I came across a wonderful idea. I have been thinking about doing something like Fashion Fridays or Five on Friday but I just did not love them, but when I came across a photographer in Idaho, Amanda Andrews and her idea of Mine On Mondays I could not resist. This is what I was looking for and since she was encouraging others to participate with her I thought "I'm In". I too started a blog (actually my room mom did:) two years ago to document my beautiful little girls life. Well between teaching my kindergarten class, starting a photography business and my normal mom and wife duties, my family blog has been neglected. Not only has my blog been neglected but taking pictures of Haylee, our life and experiences has as well. The whole reason why I bought my camera in the first place was to capture her special moments. I loved it so much that my hobby turned into a passion and then my obession. I started taking friends pictures and then clients. I spend so much time editing, taking pics, and thinking and finding ideas that I have forgot the real reason behind my passion...My baby girl. It is so bad that I didn't even take one year old pictures of her (I will do this though, better late than never...right!) The concept of Mine On Mondays is to blog about MY LIFE. I think this will be a great way for me to combine to different blogs and free some time for me. I also believe it will ge a great way for my friends, family and clients to get to know me and my family. Isn't that what photography is all about, capturing moments so that you can document your life and share them with people you love and know. Now these pictures might not always be the prettiest, or edited but they are life and life is not something you can edit! To that being said here you go..

My Guilty Pleasures

Okay so there is this contest that I totally want to win! It is a free slot in these two awesome photographers online class. So to win the contest you have to show a self portrait in your guilty pleasure. So I thought hard about what my guilty pleasures are all day yesturday, I could tell you I like bubble bath's, chocolate, reading, shopping and of course all my hand bags. But when I feel asleep it came to me soooo clearly. When I woke up I thought I can't put that on my blog, I am a Kindergarten Teacher living in Utah. But then I thought what the HECK! This is MY BLOG, and no one else would have the nerve to show their true guilty pleasure....so here I go ladies enjoy.....and pick me! My guilty pleasure is a combination of two things.

And here they are. I love my hard alcohol and my twilight series.

I love to grab myself a mixed drink (any kind is good but I prefer the fruity kind), curl up in my warm cozy recliner and read my book. Then after a couple of those yummy drinks I like to drift off into my twilight world where both, yes both Edward and Jacob fight over me like vampires and warewolves. I let them know that it is okay and they don't have to fight becasue I will have both of them:)

Of a warm winter. I know, I know the song does not go that way but I am freezing. Chilled right down to my bone. Usually I don't mind the cold but for some reason this year I am not enjoying it, so while I sit here shivering while editing some pictures I wanted to put warmth into every bodies mind. I love visiting California and we get to do it often because of family and friends there. So enjoy this picture from the warm, sunny southern California as this beautiful senior lays on the beach! Thankful for...

We have been traveling so much this weekend that I forgot to post. This weekend started out a little rough for us. As we were leaving St. George, right out of Mesquite we hit dead stop traffic for at least an hour. Traveling with a one year old is hard enough I did not need my 7 hour drive to turn into a 12 hour drive. After that we hit traffic in Vegas, Barstow, Victorville.......San Diego. I was so irritated by the time we got to Chris' dads house I went straight to bed. As I was laying in bed grumbling about how long it took to get here, I suddenly felt a calmness and realized how lucky I am to have made it safely to our destintation. That brings me to my, "I am Thankful For". I am thankful for my healthy family, friends, JOB and my passion for photography. I am so lucky to have such wonderful, supportive people in my life. Most of all I am grateful to God for our little miracle baby girl who has blessed our lives with so many joys.

I love watching the interaction between engaged couples becasue it always takes me back to whe I first met my husband. The butterflies in the stomach, the small giggles and blushing. There is nothing like... new, young love. Okay I am getting all lovey, dovey. I guess it could just be the young hormones running through 20 year olds bodies. HEHE! No matter what it is I love wathcing it through my lens!

This weekend was such a wirlwind and I am exhausted. Two days filled with talking to lots of fun new people and giving out my business cards. Lets just start off by saying I got a wild hair and decided to do this expo just a little while ago, so getting ready for this expo was a full time job in it's self. But I am so excited that I did it. I was so happy to see my hard work pay off in big beautiful prints.

Why Photography?

Simple...the love of my daughter. I knew the instant I saw her I wanted to capture every second of her life. From the wrinkles in her nose when she smiles to her gigantic blue eyes. I wanted to capture moments in time that would never happen again. I wanted to be able to relive her childhood when she leaves our home for college. I know that life passes by in one short breathe...I can't stop it but i can freeze bits and pieces of it.

This fascination turned into an obsession which eventually became my passion. I eventually realized I wanted to share this passion with my friends, family and now clients. My photography is their to capture the moments you won't be able to get back...but you will be able to relive these moments through my images.

This picture is of my wonderful hair dressers favorite boys. I absolutely love this picture with son and dad walking together. They love baseball so much that their entire basement is covered in braves gear. From a red coach, to a braves recliner to baseball cards framed and hung all over the walls. I know every time my husband walks into their basement he drools because he wants his man cave sooooo bad. Hope you like it girlie and there is more to come soon.

That's right I call these my headless head shots, and I love them. Don't ask me why I like pictures with out heads but I just do. You can't tell but this beautiful lady in Tina Ryan from Life is A Highway photography. She is such a talented photographer, so if you are ever in New Jersey you need to book a session with her. While on facebook I noticed Tina had my picture on her blog. I was so excited and in Awwww that she used my picture, that's right MY picture for her About Me section for her website. Thank you for using my picture, the small confidence boost and being such a great potog friend. Good Luck with all your new plans for this up comming year and I hope to see you soon!

Living on Starbucks & Dew!

Here's to my girl sitting at home living on Starbucks and Mountain Dew. She just had her little baby boy two weeks ago and is not getting much sleep right now. I wish I lived closer to her because I would love to watch her little one so she could nap. Of course while I was there I would have to break out the cameta and snap some shots of her little cuttie. Hope {Mr. L} gets well soon and you catch up on some sleep. Love Ya!
